The LD-WL8-OUT-FS is a wireless single channel Output Module for use as part of a Kentec Wireless Lockdown System. Compatible with the LD-WL8-TRH Lockdown Translator and LD-WL8-EXP Lockdown Expander modules the LD-WL8-OUT-FS provides a switched voltage output to drive an Auxiliary relay. The LD-WL8-OUT-FS is used to provide a fault output on the wireless lockdown system and is allocated a pre-configured address on the translator (Address 7).

The LD-WL8-OUT-FS will activate on any fault condition on the lockdown system such as tamper, low voltage and communication faults. It has been configured to automatically activate if it loses communication due to a failure of the Lockdown Translator, providing fail safe functionality. It is recommended to use the LD-WL8-OUT-FS in conjunction with the Identifire Auxiliary Relay Unit. The Auxiliary Relay Unit provides a Volt Free Changeover output rated 5 A @ 30 VDC or 8 A @ 230 VAC. This output can then be used to indicate the fault status of the lockdown system to other monitoring equipment.

The LD-WL8-OUT-FS is monitored for communication, tamper and low battery voltage fault states and will activate its output and subsequently the Auxilliary Relay in a fault condition. An LED status indicator is provided on the Output Module, in default setting this LED will be off in Standby mode and will only indicate when the output is active by flashing red.

The LED can be configured to flash green to indicate Standby mode and yellow to indicate a fault state if required, however this will reduce the battery life. Where additional space is required for installation of cables etc. back-box KM-BBOX-01 is available.

The system provides manual activation and broadcast of voice messages for Lockdown activation, covert lockdown activation, and All Clear events. 

The Wireless Lockdown Notification System is based on the established K-Mesh Wireless Fire Detection product range with minor modifications in functionality to meet the requirements for Lockdown notification. This provides users confidence in the performance and reliability of the system.
