The Lockdown Indicator Panel is an optional part of the Wireless Lockdown Notification system, the Wireless Lockdown Notification System will function without or without this panel. The panel provides monitoring of up to two loops of wireless Lockdown devices and will provide detailed status of the Wireless Lockdown devices.

The Lockdown Indicator Panel provides monitoring for a single lockdown notification system via a single addressable loop, but can be expanded to monitor a second Lockdown Notification System by addition of a second loop card.

The panel is hard wired to the Lockdown Translator Module (LD-WL8-TRH) and receives data regarding the status of the wireless system and its devices; the panel can then display this status via its LED indications and LCD. The

Lockdown Indicator Panel is also capable of supplying power to the Wireless Lockdown Translator removing the need for a separate power supply. The LCD provides clear and detailed information on any events that occur on the Wireless Lockdown System including:

• Indication of which Wireless Lockdown input was activated
• Indication of Fault conditions related to the Wireless Lockdown devices and the Lockdown Indicator panel.
• Diagnostic information for identification of fault causes.
• 3 Programmable VFCO relay outputs are provided for signaling to or controlling other equipment - the default settings for the relays are failsafe fault, Lockdown activated, and Alarm.
• Minimum controls are provided on the panel fascia for Silence Buzzer, Lamp test and Reset.

This product has been created following the introduction of the Terrorism Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law)  brought in following the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena where 22 people died and hundreds  more were injured, many under the age of 16. The act is designed to improve safety at public accessible  locations and introduces a duty of care for venue operators, requiring them to put proportionate  protective measures in place to safeguard the public. The Kentec Wireless Lockdown Notification  System provides the broadcasting of clear and concise voice messaging to building/site occupants in  the event of an emergency which requires Lockdown of the building/site. The system provides manual activation and broadcast of voice messages for Lockdown activation, covert lockdown activation, and All Clear events. 

The Wireless Lockdown Notification System is based on the established K-Mesh Wireless Fire Detection product range with minor modifications in functionality to meet the requirements for Lockdown notification. This provides users confidence in the performance and reliability of the system.
