Kentec KSU-HEAT Analogue Heat Sensor

KSU-HEAT is a Hochiki DCP protocol intelligent heat sensor. The sensor is well suited for environments where dust, cooking fumes or other factors make the use of smoke sensors impractical. KSU-HEAT is compatible with Kentec’s Taktis UL and Elite RS fire alarm control panels. 

KSU-HEAT incorporates a highly linear thermistor circuit providing both fixed temperature and rate of rise alarm thresholds. Operating mode and temperature threshold settings can be configured through the control panels LE2 configuration software.

The detector has dual status LEDs which are visible through 360 degrees, the LEDs will flash green when polling and will be continuous red in alarm. The LEDs can be configured as polling or non-polling through the LE2 control panel configuration software.

KSU-HEAT occupies a single Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) address which is configured by using the TCH-B200 programmer. 

The detector is compatible with the Analog Sensor Bases KSU-BASE-47 and KSU-BASE-67, Short Circuit Isolation (SCI) bases KSU-BASE-47-SCI and KSU-BASE-67-S CI as well as base sounder KSU-BSND7.
