The Ei171RF is a RadioLINK alarm accessory that is designed to give warning to the deaf and hard of hearing if their alarm system has activated. It consists of a mains powered strobe light with a rechargeable battery back-up. This strobe has been designed specifically for daytime rooms as a visual indicator, with a specially designed lens for wide-angle light output.

For protection in a bedroom we recommend the Ei170RF alarm kit as this combines a strobe light and a vibrating pillow pad for extra warning.

This Strobe Light is compatible with the 3000, Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm Ei2110e, 160e Series alarms and 140RC Series smoke and heat alarms, along with any interconnected Carbon Monoxide alarms. This kit links into the alarm system using RadioLINK wireless interconnection technology, making it easier to add into a system and causing less disruption to the occupants on installation.

As with other RadioLINK products the Ei17iRF Strobe for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing will need to be linked into the alarm system or ‘House Coded’.

• An optional additional strobe (Ei178) is available for providing warning in additional rooms, The Ei178 is supplied with 10m of pre-wired cable and plug for connection to one of the auxiliary sockets
