The 2010-2-DACT, Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT) is an accessory of the small to medium size intelligent addressable life safety control systems.

Functionality

The DACT provides communications between a compatible control panel and a central monitoring station (CMS) over the public switched telephone network (PSTN). The DACT uses the Contact ID (CID) protocol and is capable of single, dual, or split reporting of events to up to six configurable central monitoring stations. An optional GPRS board (the ATS7310) can be installed onto the DACT to provide mobile network communications.

Mounting & Connections

The board can be plugged directly on the front of the main board inside the small and big size control panel variants on top of the new release 3 chassis. No additional wiring is required. You can use the pluggable connectors to make your connections to the PSTN lines.
