Ziton Maestro ZP3 System Management Software CD

Maestro is a PC based, advanced emergency management system interfacing into Ziton's ZP3 fire alarm control panels. It provides an operator with a graphical user interface (GUI) that assists in the rapid geographical location of a fire system alarm event.

Events such as fires, faults, extinguishing statuses etc. are represented by dynamic icons placed on maps or diagrams indicating the floor layouts of buildings. Maestro provides comprehensive facilities for all aspects of fire detection and alarm system management.

Connectivity

The Maestro PC connects directly into the ZP3 fire panel network and becomes one of a possible 256 nodes. Multiple Maestro PCs may be connected to the same fire panel network.

Protection

Maestro is protected by a software security device that is inserted into the parallel or USB port of the PC. This dongle enables continuous operation of the communication software module. For demonstration purposes Maestro may operate without this dongle, but communication between the fire system and the PC is limited to 1 hour only. Engineering and setup of the database is possible without the dongle to allow for system data to be edited easily off-site.

Virtual Control Panel Interface

The virtual control panel interface in Maestro allows the operator to use a simulated view of the fire panel user interface. The system status on the fire panel LCD display as well as the status of the LED indicators is available on the virtual panel interface, together with full panel control.
