The Gent 17860-01 Heat Detector is a rate of rise type sensor ideal for use on modern conventional fire alarm systems.

Heat detectors may be used in areas where smoke detectors will suffer from false triggers due to dust or fumes arising from the use of the area, The 7800 heat detectors use the same standard base as the smoke detectors and allow all areas of a building to be protected.
