The Fire-Cryer® Plus range of voice sounders are electronic sounders which are pre-programmed with 9 messages. Each of the Fire-Cryer® voice sounders can be used as a single message voice sounder by simply installing them on to a conventional 24Vdc sounder circuit or by using a sounder controller on a loop. The choice of message(s) broadcast can be selected using a DIL switch on the rear of the sounder.

The Fire-Cryer® Plus offers an excellent service upgrade opportunity for systems as well as a highly flexible and cost-effective solution to providing a voice evacuation system to many buildings.

The Fire-Cryer® Plus requires no special wiring and can be retrofitted to existing installations. They are fully synchronised and have an exceptionally low current consumption. The units can be used as a replacement with electronic sounders or bells to broadcast a clear message for any situation - evacuation, chemical spills, access message, security or general information.

Where staged alarm or phased evacuation is required message controllers can be used to allow up to seven different messages to be broadcast across multiple zones on just two wires.

The strobe is not intended to be the primary source of alarm and a such has not been assessed for compliance to EN 54-23.

The following standard messages are pre-programmed into the FireCryer Plus range of voice enhanced sounders:-

• Fire Emergency. Please remain calm and evacuate the building immediately.
• This is a fire alert. This is a fire alert. Await further instructions. Await further instructions.
• Standby Alert. Close all blinds and move to the middle of the room.
• All clear. All clear. No further action required.
• This is an ADT fire test. No action required.
• This is a class change announcement.
• Fire detected. Keep calm. Leave the building by the nearest exit.
• Ladies and gentlemen due to unforeseen circumstances we must ask you to leave the building immediately by the nearest exit or as directed by members of staff.
• We have an emergency situation. Please leave the building by the nearest exit. Members of staff will assist you.
