The 602SB Conventional Sounder Bases provide an additional sounder function on collective fire detection circuits. They operate independently of the detector circuit and may be used without an associated detector.

The 602SB Sounder Base may be used with or without an associated detector. When used with an associated detector, removal of any detector or loss of power to the detection circuit may cause the sounder to cease operating. When used without an associated detector, the wiring should be as shown in the alternate wiring scheme. It also provides eight tone and variable volume settings.

This detector base is a two-wire line powered option.

The 602SB provides the same tone specifications as the 601SB, but is powered by a 2-wire detector loop. It is identified by a yellow park clip.
