All Haescomm Emergency Voice Communications Systems (EVCS) are designed to comply fully with the requirements of BS5839-9:2011 for use as a disabled refuge system (DRS) with integrated Emergency Assist Alarm System. The Haescomm Remote Alarm Panel provides a compact and stylish solution when the Haescomm master station is located within a non-staffed area such as an entrance lobby.

The HC-RAP provides an audible and visual indication of when the Haescomm system is being used. It provides remote indication whenever a Haescomm outstation is in use, or the Assist Call alarm is activated.

The audible buzzer may be muted whilst the cause of the alarm is investigated. When the call is ended, or the alarm cancelled, the Remote Alarm Panel will automatically cancel. The HC-RAP is connected to the In-Use Relay located inside the Haescomm master station via a 2-core flame resistant cable.

The In-Use relay within the Haescomm Master is site programmable (see appropriate manual for details) and an optional delay is available for signalling to different locations when the panel is unattended.

The HC-RAP is self-contained and only requires a local mains supply in addition to the signal from the panel.

A relay contact is provided which can be used to cascade panels or to provide an additional volt free contact for BMS or Fire Alarm notification.
