A compact lightweight alarm sounder for use with intrinsically safe circuits. The DB5 has been designed for maximum acoustic efficiency and low current consumption. As the product is intrinsically safe it must be used with an appropriate barrier or isolator.

It has been designed with a high weatherproof rating to cope with the harsh environmental conditions found offshore and onshore in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

The DB5 can also be used in the mining industry.
