Cooper CIT420R Addressable 4-20mA Interface

The CIT420R 4-20 mA addressable interface is compatible with Cooper analogue addressable control units. This interface has a unique address on the loop. Each relay is programmable with its own sensitivity level which can be expressed as a percentage of L.E.L (Explosion Limit Level) or PPM (Parts per million) through the arrangement of the DIL microswitches.

Installation

• Separate the two halves of the unit
• Drill out (or knock out) the required cable entries in the surface mounting back-box
• Fit the back-box in position and pass the wires into it
• Connect the unit according to the diagram below
• Set the required threshold levels via the DIL switches
