C-Tec BF-DP Retrofit Decor Plate

The Retrofit Decor Plate, Part No. BF-DP, is an easy-to-fit mounting accessory designed to cover up decorating witness marks and is typically used when retrofitting larger diameter mains powered detectors with C-TEC devices, or other compatible third party detectors.

The BF-DP is versatile and compatible with C-TEC’s CAST & ActiV range of fire detectors (smoke, heat, multisensor), platform sounders/VADs and the Quick Connect Plate (BF431QCP). All other parts and devices are separately available.

The BF-DP can be fitted directly to a ceiling using suitable fixings (not supplied), or to a BESA/Conduit/60 mm Euro type backbox, or a 1-gang UK backbox (up to 85 mm in size). Two PT retaining screws are supplied with the BF-DP which are used to secure the C-TEC device directly to the BF-DP (shown in Fig.2).
