The C-Tec CA433A/DR/65 is a red wall mounted high output addressable wall VAD and sounder with deep base designed for use on C-Tec CAST protocol analogue addressable fire alarm systems.

‘CAST’ is the world’s most-advanced ‘distributed intelligence’ fire alarm system protocol. Conceived, designed and realised by C-TEC as part of a five-year, multi-million-pound project, it involved the creation of a powerful proprietary communication protocol (C-TEC Addressable System Technology, CAST) and multiple control panels & field devices.

• Provides 'W-2.75-9' rated light distribution. Also rated as a W-4-4 VAD

• 13.5mA typical alarm current (550µA typical quiescent current) @ 27-40V DC (VAD lit, sounder on max)
• Group addressing facility allows multiple devices to be operated simultaneously
