Aritech IO956CD 950 Series Sounder Circuit Controller DIN Rail Mount (CPD Certified)

The IO956CD is a 950 series loop powered, DIN rail mounted, addressable module that is designed to control a zone of sounders powered by an external DC supply. The sounders will be switched to sound continuously or be pulsed, 1s ON, 1s OFF. Multiple sounder controllers on a panel may be controlled individually or in programmable groups, and have a facility for synchronising the outputs in all modes.

Construction

The DIN rail interface clips into a standard 35mm DIN rail (DIN 46277) or are screwed to the base of a larger enclosure. This enables fire system designers to achieve the functions required and create multi-purpose interfaces for individual sites.

Installation

Connections are made via plug-in terminal blocks that accept wires up to 2.5mm². Local LEDs may be disabled if not required to save loop power.

Approvals

The IO955CD is CPD certified when mounted in a suitable enclose. The installation must conform to applicable local codes and be carried out such that the unit is not subjected to:

• Exposure to risk of mechanical damage
• Unauthorised modification or interference
• Exposure to moisture, dust and foreign bodies
• Exposure to temperatures exceeding the maximum ambient
