Aritech DB961 950 Series Mounting Base with Isolator

The DB961 is a 900 series addressable base with built in loop isolator. This isolating base senses and isolates short circuit faults on 900 series loops. Up to 20 addressable devices may be placed between any two isolator bases.

Installation

The DB961 uses the standard passive address card for a unique device address assignment. It is polarity sensitive and loop powered. It is compatible with both 950 and 990 series devices.

Operation

In short circuit conditions, the integral yellow LED on the DB961 is illuminated. The detector inserted in the base remains operational under short circuit conditions. Power and communications to the affected section are restored automatically when the fault is cleared.
