The Multi-Tone Open-Area Sounder Visual Indicator is designed for use in indoor open areas and can be connected to any Discovery or XP95 system. The sounder visual indicator complements Apollo's intelligent and integrated base sounders as well as the Multi-Tone Open-Area Sounder.

The Multi-tone Open-Area Alarm Devices are powered directly from the loop and need no external power supply. They operate at 18 –28V DC and are polarity sensitive. Synchronisation of the tones ensures the integrity of the signal – tones from different sounders do not merge into one signal that could be mistaken for a different tone.
