From the Special Applications Department, Kentec offers a range of Evacuation Alert Control Panels for the manual evacuation of residential high-rise buildings. The panels provide fire and rescue service personnel with the means to activate audio/visual devices within apartments enabling controlled evacuation of building occupants. Buildings can be evacuated in a phased approached through operation of configured manual toggle switches.

To accommodate high-rise residential and other buildings, Panels are available in 2 loop and 3 loop versions (with the option to expand to 4 loops), in two enclosure sizes. Based on reliable and familiar Syncro AS architecture, either Apollo, Hochiki, Argus and EMS protocol versions are available – all configurable using Kentec Loop Explorer software.

Evacuate alarms are activated with easy-to-operate toggle switches accompanied by corresponding status LED’s (alarm active and fault). Areas can be effectively defined by the user with integral control panel labelling.

The unique 5-bank ‘modular’ design allows system expansion should the need arise. An anti-tamper switch is fitted which can be used to provide notification when the panel has been opened. Notification can be provided by e-mail or text using a Vizulinx alarm management module* or a dedicated dialler.

A powerful battery backed LED light strip automatically illuminates the panel controls for ease of use in low ambient light conditions. An integral buzzer and system fault indicator provide added audible and visual system information.

All versions are housed in secure, lockable, mild steel enclosures finished in RAL3002 (carmine red) epoxy powder coat.
