The innovative Excellence range of intelligent addressable devices offers advanced features for reliability and peace of mind. Coupled with features for ease of installation and maintenance on new fire detection systems, it’s a perfect match for exceptional overall performance.

The KE-DB3010W is an Excellence series, traffic white surface mount first-fix base allowing any Kidde Excellence addressable devices to be inserted, removed or replaced without rewiring using an easy twist and lock action. An optical "floating" visual illusion blends the Excellence series detector into any environment beautifully.

The KE-DB3010W is supplied with a labeling tag that may be inserted at two locations around the base. Larger tags may also be ordered separately.

Ease of Installation

Forming an integral part of the device assembly, this standard base is provided with key-hole slots for screw fixing directly to ceiling structures or conduit boxes. Large rear cable entry and cable entry from the side allows for flexible and easy wiring to the base.

For special applications a multitude of base accessories are available for recess and surface installations, ensuring easy and practical installations.

Ease of Wiring & Testing

Clearly marked and colour coded terminals with captive screws ensure correct and secure wiring termination for loop connections and optional cable screening. Remote indicator support is available.

As Excellence series devices support integrated isolators on-board, provision is made in the base for bridging isolation cable breaks when a detector is not fitted. This allows pre-installation cable continuity testing and maintains continuity when a detector is removed from its base.
