ACT ACT179 Sound Level Meter
ACT179 is a sound level meter.
The ACT/179 is compliant with BS EN 61672-1 Class 2 and is supplied with a detachable windshield and quality hard carry case.
The large high-contrast display includes both digital reading and analogue bar graph.
An instrument complying with BS EN 61672-1, set to slow response and A weighting, is suitable for measuring the sound pressure level of the alarm signal.
If you require a meter specifically for fire alarm commissioning, the ACT/179 is designed to meet the requirements of BS 5839-1.
