Ziton ZR401 Wireless Sensor Base
ZR401 common mounting base, allows any ZR400 wireless sensor to be easily removed and replaced from almost any location. Sensors plug into the base unit with a simple twist and lock action, allowing quick and easy removal for cleaning and servicing, or reselection of device type should the usage of the protected area change.
A high integrity VHF transmitter, its power supply and aerial are all contained within the base moulding, which in turn forms an integral part of the overall sensor assembly.
Power supplies comprise four self-contained 6 x 1.5 volt alkaline AAA cells, providing an energy source, for normal site operation, for approximately five years. The system indicates remaining battery capacity and a low battery condition is indicated to the control panel as a fault, allowing 30 days for the battery pack to be replaced.
