The GR Light is a general purpose, cost effective emergency luminaire suitable for both interior and exterior (with optional sealing gasket) environments. Comprising of a moulded self extinguishing polycarbonate base fitted with an opal diffuser, suitable for use on escape routes (850 degrees C Hot-Wire test, defined by ICEL). The diffuser is a snap fit and can be gasketted to the base to provide a seal up to IP65. The gear tray is easily removable to allow first fix of the base. A BESA entry is provided in the base. Complying with the requirements of BS5433 and suitable for incorporation into an emergency lighting system complying with BS5266:1988. The GR Light offers a cost effective solution to combine emergency lighting and mains lighting, or where higher light levels are required, available in white.
