Supplied in an attractive flush or surface mountable plastic enclosure, the 8 Zone Repeater is compatible with CFP Standard and CFP LPCB Approved Fire Alarm Control Panels; 2, 4 and 8 zone variants. Being fully compliant with EN54 parts 2 and 4, the CFP conventional fire alarm Repeater panel offers an array of user and installer friendly features.
- A maximum of eight Repeaters may be used per system, each with its own mains power supply and built in battery-back-up supply. (Batteries not included)
- Each Repeater repeats the indicators of the Master panel and allows the User access to all Access Level 1, and Access Level 2 functions from a remote part of a site.
- Provided with user code access buttons as standard, or with optional keyswitch to access user controls without code entry.
- Communication with the Master panel is achieved using network driver cards (one is included, supplied and built in to each Repeater), communicating via a screened two-wire fire resistant cable of up to 1 km in length.
- To enable communication to take place, an additional network driver card must be supplied and fitted at the Master panel. (Part No: CFP761)
The Repeater network should be wired in two core screened fire resistant cable, each of the cores being of at least 1mm c.s.a. (E.g. Firetuff, Firecell, MICC or similar). The wiring should be laid out in a radial or "broken" daisy chain configuration, i.e. not in a star, not a loop, and with no spurs. End of line terminations are not required, and no special consideration is required for the positioning of the Main panel or the addressing order of the Repeaters. The total cable length should not exceed 1km.
